| Sustainability

Dorsch Global teams worldwide deliver solutions that advance clean energy, resilience, and sustainable development.

At Dorsch Global, we believe that sustainability is not just a goal, but a shared responsibility and a promise to future generations. As a global engineering consultancy with 7,500 passionate professionals, we are at the forefront of transformation. Our people bring knowledge, innovation and purpose together across continents to create a more liveable, just and resilient world.

The International Day of Clean Energy highlights the urgency and opportunity of a fair energy transition, which is a mission that our teams contribute to around the world. From Europe to the Middle East and North Africa, and across regions such as the USA and the UK, our experts are driving effective climate action and improving living conditions through a variety of clean energy and resource efficiency initiatives.

In Europe, pioneering solutions such as the river-water heat-pump system for up to 3,900 homes in Gießen and the feasibility study for a renewable district heating network in Wesel demonstrate how local challenges can be overcome through innovative planning. In Berlin-Tegel, a climate-neutral urban district is emerging, and in Stralsund, one of Germany’s largest solar thermal plants is setting new standards for renewable heat supply.

Beyond Europe, our teams are driving sustainable development across the Middle East and North Africa. In Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Gate district, Dorsch Middle East is enabling resource-efficient urban transformation through high-performance water and energy infrastructure, including a large-scale facility for wastewater reuse. In Jordan, Dorsch Impact is strengthening the water-energy nexus by improving wastewater services, integrating renewable energy and constructing Net Zero Energy school buildings. In Tunisia, we are upgrading energy-intensive wastewater systems through efficiency measures, biogas utilisation and photovoltaics, which will significantly cut emissions and operating costs.

These examples reflect our global commitment. With our diverse expertise and shared dedication to making a difference, we create solutions that address the environmental, social and economic dimensions of sustainability, helping to build a more stable, clean and resilient future for communities worldwide.
