On Thursday, 5 November 2026, the KontaktMesse Verkehr takes place in the Gerhart-Potthoff-Bau at TU Dresden. The fair is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in rooms POT 61, POT 161 and POT 168. Registration is not required for attendance.
The event is organised by Spätverkehr e.V., an association of friends of the student council for transport sciences. It takes place at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences "Friedrich List", which has around 1,600 enrolled students. Companies from mobility, transport and logistics present themselves there and talk about internships, theses, working student positions and direct entry into a career. Students of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are addressed as well.
GRE German Rail Engineering can be found in room POT 168 at booth Z01. BPS rail is also in POT 168 with its own booth, number Z16, and will additionally take part in the Meet'n'Greet. The format enables personal conversations of 20 minutes, for which application documents are passed to the companies in advance.
The faculty looks back on more than a hundred years of transport science tradition and emerged in 1992 from the Hochschule für Verkehr. Its programmes range from transport engineering and mobility and transport systems to master's programmes such as railway systems engineering and electrical transport systems. The fair offers an opportunity to answer questions about planning tasks in rail and transport and to exchange ideas with the university and the industry.
